The 2026 Suriname Technical Symposium builds on the momentum of previous events held in Paramaribo in January 2024 and May 2025 and provides new insights into the basin gained through recent exploration activities.
In addition to providing valuable information and connection for industry professionals, the Technical Symposium will make a positive impact on next generation of geoscience leaders in Suriname. Students and recent graduates qualify for volunteer opportunities and special registration fees, and they are invited to present their research and attend a career development session held in conjunction with the event.
The program features keynote talks from Staatsolie and Ministry representatives, executive panels, and a series of technical presentations and interactive Q&A sessions organized along the following themes:

- Data Acquisition Technologies

- Environmental Considerations in Oil and Gas Developments
