Ms. Denise Cox, President of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) (2018-2019) paid a short visit to Malaysia and on 1 April, was the honorable speaker at the University of Malaya, where she met students from Malaysian AAPG student chapters. Ms Cox gave her insights on "The Value of Leadership in Your Geoscience Career" - Life Lessons from The Petroleum Industry. She also gave advice to students on the worldwide oil and gas industry. UTP was represented by Mr Choong Chee Meng and Ms Zuraini Binti Ismail, Lecturer/Staff, myself as President of the Chapter, together with members Muhammad Zul Fadhli bin Mohd Fauzi, Anis Shahirah Ghazaly, Nur Jannatul Syukrina binti Mohd Soffian, Mohd Lukman Hakim Bin Aslahuddin as well as EAGE-UTP student chapter representative Shafika binti Yusuf.
