Frederick “Rick” F. Weber
Rick is currently Vice President–Technical of ExxonMobil Exploration Company.
Rick holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from George Mason University and in 1979 received a Master of Science degree in Chemical Oceanography from Texas A&M University.
Mr. Weber joined Exxon in 1981 and has held numerous technical and managerial geoscience positions in Exxon and ExxonMobil's research, exploration and production companies. His exploration and production operations experience includes the Americas, Africa, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.
Rick is a member the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) and a trustee for the American Geological Institute Foundation. He serves on the Cambridge University CASP Scientific Advisory Board, the Advisory Council for the National Center for Atmospheric Research, and the Corporate Advisory Board of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.
