ACE 2019 - Call for Session Proposals

AAPG 2019 Annual Convention & Exhibition

Call for Session Proposals - You are invited to submit content ideas/proposals for the AAPG 2019 Annual Convention & Exhibition (ACE), 19-22 May in San Antonio, Texas. This new step, intended to facilitate the submission of a diverse collection of dynamic and relevant topics, will be followed by a traditional call for abstracts for the meeting.

The Technical Program Committee for the AAPG 2019 Annual Convention & Exhibition (ACE), 19-22 May in San Antonio, Texas, invites you to submit content ideas/proposals for the convention.

This new step, intended to facilitate the submission of a diverse collection of dynamic and relevant topics, will be followed by a traditional call for abstracts for the meeting.

You are welcome and encouraged to submit multiple session ideas; however, you and/or your fellow proponents must be available and willing to chair any session(s) that are ultimately accepted for the conference.

SUBMIT PROPOSALS

  • Please make sure that proposed session titles and descriptions are clear.
  • Submissions must include the names and contact details for at least two idea proponents.
  • The deadline for submissions is 15 July.

The 2019 ACE Program Committee will review and consider all proposals received by the deadline. Topics will be evaluated for:

  • Originality
  • Audience interest/relevance
  • Clarity of the written session description

The Technical Program Co-Chairs will notify you (primary contact) if your session idea is included in the Call for Abstracts. However, a sufficient number of high-quality abstracts must ultimately be obtained, reviewed and accepted for inclusion in ACE technical program.

Thank you in advance for your interest in the 2019 ACE and for sharing your content suggestions.
