For 28 years I taught sedimentology, stratigraphy, structure, and tectonics/ plate tectonics at the University at Buffalo. I performed tons of research which included marine geology in the Pacific, Atlantic and Caribbean, structure/tectonics in Newfoundland and the Taconics, and structure and its control on deposition in the northern Appalachian Basin, and consulted for mines, earthquake concerns, and for oil and gas. A year ago, I semi-retired from the University at Buffalo (still have a few students and teach a few courses a year) and became Director of Special Projects at Nornew, Inc.
