Annual Meeting Program Rates

EVERYONE will see your ad in the Annual Convention Program book! Advertising in the Program Book offers your company an excellent opportunity to get the word out on your product and/or service.
The Program Book will include the daily program schedule, all event listings, maps of the exhibition hall, and all the other necessary information for EVERY convention attendee.

- Black and White Ad Mechanical Requirements:
- The Program Book is a totally electronic publiscation. All ads must be submitted as digital files. Hard copy proofs are required for all ads.

Color Rates and Requirements
Colors are derived from four process ink colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) exclusively. No Pantone (PMS) or other custom ink blending systems. Metallic silver and gold inking available on a limited basis. Contact AAPG for production and pricing details.
In addition to black and white space rates*, add:
$200 - Additional process colors (per color)
$500 - Four-color process
Any film preparation required on color advertising will be billed as an additional charge.
Bleed Ads
Bleed ads are available. To regular rates, add $50.
Full bleed pages carry a .125-in. trim on all four sides after binding. Reading material or illustrations not intended to bleed must be kept .25-in. away from the trim edge.
Spreads (two full-bleed facing pages) must be furnished as one continuous piece 17 in. x 11.125 in.

File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
FTP is the preferred method of transferring files electronically.
Submitting files as e-mail attachments is discouraged due to the size of the average document. Anything over 15 MB is rejected by AAPG ’s e-mail system. However, if that is the only means of transport available to you, be sure to send a confirming e-mail without attachments. Compressing the file before attaching it to an e-mail will help.
NOTE: In all cases, a hard copy proof of your advertisement is required.
